Yogi Adityanath - "A Secular" or "Kattar Hindu"

Ashutosh Pandey who works at Indian Railway and is a GORAKHPUR resident says,

I live near Gorakhnath temple & here most of my friends are Muslims,even i spend my most of the day here in Muslim area,and here i will share few facts:

1.)Every year there is one month long fair(Numaish)known as “khichadi ka mela” ,held within the boundaries of Gorakhnath Mandir,about 95% of shops are from Muslim community.but no one among them felt any type of discrimination done with them.In year 2007 because of communal clashes curfew was imposed by district administration,during that crucial time Adityanath baba ensured all shopkeepers (more than 100 Muslims having temporary shops within the premises of Gorakhnath temple)of “khichadi ka mela”that u all r safe here and whatever u need u can take from “Bhandara(store of gorakhnath temple).

2.)About 4 years ago a fire broke out in nearby Muslim area,fire trucks came there but were empty very soon. To fill up those fire trucks ,they had to go more then 3 kilometers. But someone told him and he allowed all fire trucks to take water from the holy pond of Gorakhnath Temple, i can give you name of persons whose house & go down cached fire and was saved by combined effort of yogiji and fire department.

3.)One of my friend’s relative is very poor,they are Muslim ansari,one of his son became blind because of some type of brain tumor,his treatment was going on in AIIMS,New Delhi.Doctors told him that his operation will cost Rs60,000/- ,we suggested that poor Muslim fellow to go to Yogiji and ask some help ,he did the same and Yogiji gave him total 60,000/- for his operation in AIIMS.

So he is a nice person and treats everyone in his constituency equally ,it doesn’t matter for him that a person asking for help is Hindu or Muslim.

Though the image of Yogi Adityanath has been metaphor-ed as a "Kattar Hindu" leader but we must not forget that he had been a winner in politics since last 25 years from his constituency where both Hindus and Muslims dwells equally so It would be a great slap on the face of secularism if we dignify Yogi Adityanath only as a "KATTAR".

No doubt he support Hindutva blindly and up to any extent but supporting ones religion did not proves the mentality against mankind and with power in his hand we hope for a corruption free UP where every religion must be enjoying his right and can resides like a single family.
